The most significant features of an AUT system over an RT system is the safety factor of not producing x-rays or other radiation. The Global / Shaw AUT system has been approved to SCR status, being pre-accredited by Shell, BP, DNV and API.
System cycle time for flow line acceptance criteria is dependent on pipe diameter. Twelve-inch pipe would take four minutes of real-time inspection, inclusive of travel time and joint cooling. A 42-inch pipe would take approximately five to six minutes. For more information, contact us.
